Information
Help us hold airlines accountable and shape air passenger rights in Denmark.
Flyhjælp is looking for a Danish-speaking Legal Expert to join our litigation team. Together with our parent company Flightright in Berlin, we help travelers claim compensation from airlines under EU Regulation 261/2004 when their flights are delayed, cancelled, or overbooked. Since 2010, more than 11 million people have used our services.
We specialize in the Nordic jurisdictions under our brands:
FLYHJÆLP | FLYGHJÄLP | FLYHJELP | LENTOAPU
… and we have our very own litigation department that handles cases in the Danish, Swedish, Norwegian, and Finnish courts. We take cases all the way to the Supreme Court or the European Court of Justice if necessary.
We have an ambition to be the best and biggest in the Nordics on air passenger rights.
About the role
This position is ideal for someone who wants hands-on litigation experience and is confident managing court cases independently. You’ll take ownership of mainly Danish appeals cases, and principal cases from start to finish, including strategy, pleadings, and court appearances (approx. 5–8 per year). You’ll also monitor key case law developments in Denmark and keep the litigation leadership informed.
You will not be handling administrative enforcement (e.g. fogedret), but will focus on legal content, case strategy, and court processes. In the litigation department, you will gain insight into legal method and civil procedure, learn about evidence theory, and how to write short and precise texts.
You will become an expert on air passenger rights!
Expected start date is 1 September 2025.
